Pop Smoke has been a successful and popular artist since his birth in United States on 20 July 1999. CardiB performed Welcome to the Party in an Instagram post. Bashar Jackson, also called the nickname on stage Pop Smoke (July 20th 1999-February 19th of 2020) was an American songwriter and rapper. Victor Victor Worldwide signed him. Pop Smoke also made music with Republic Records. Pop Smoke was a household name due to his Brooklyn drill sound after working in collaboration with UK drill producer 808Melo Axl Beats, Yoz Beatz and 808Melo Axl Beats. Welcome to the Party the top single from the debut mixtape Meet the Woo was released in July, 2019. The song was remixed by American rapper Nicki Minaj and British rapper Skepta. The two songs were released in August of 2019. In April 2019 Pop Smoke released his breakout single Welcome to the Party the leading single off the mixtape he released as his debut album, Meet the Woo (2019). This was later recorded and remixed by Nicki Minaj in the first version, as well as Skepta for the remix and released on August of this year. It was noted that the song used UK drill production. This would later be seen in his entire discography. This is due to his frequent collaborations and 808Melo (a British drill production company).
